Full-on Touring

My focus/purpose has never been as clear as it is today.

I am in the privileged position to be able to work with our youth, our educators and our parents in total security/safety. My position and my age allow me to be fully open and honest. Not being under the thumb of a board or any one group of individuals, I am able to speak to truth with no fear of recuperation. And this, I am doing.

All Canadians should know the truth of residential schools. It is nothing less than shocking how many Canadians do not know!

Canadians should also know of our racism and abuse toward the Chinese whom we invited to our country and who would almost single-handedly build our CPR
Canadians should learn of the hurt and harm we are inflicting upon the Inuit, the Innu and the Gwichʼin by not supporting the seal hunt and by not educating our youth in this wrongful, sad situation.

Our youth should be told again and again that mental health is as real as a physical disability or ailment. I do on a regular basis.

A main thrust of my presentations to students is the importance of reading and how any person can read given the right guidance. I share these teachings with teachers and parents as well as to students.

During this important stage of reconciliation, students should learn something of
the culture and values of the Indigenous communities. I do this by sharing my books the Seven Sacred Teachings, the Great Law, and some of the many stories that not only entertain but educate. In my presentations, I use my books, my many native flutes and my lifetime of colllecting stories.

My touring has never been as exciting...
